You will need to use a valid debit or credit card to register for online bidding.
Your card WILL NOT be charged upon registration, but it will be authorized to be sure it is valid. Some mobile banking apps will send you a notification that looks like a charge. DON'T PANIC! We ARE NOT charging you to register as an online bidder - just making sure you are a real person with a working card. This is an unfortunate necessity in this day and time. That preauthorization will NEVER COMPLETE and will fall off like it was never there. It IS NOT a charge! We remove the authorization immediately on our end at the completion of the sale. When it officially falls off on your end is entirely dependent on your bank. (Much like when you rent a car!) You do NOT have to use the card you register with for final payment, and are welcome to pay by cash at pick up!
Once you have the winning bid you will receive an email!!! Dixie Horse Auction will contact you by the end of the sale to process your payment! There is a 10% buyers premium and 6.75% NC sales tax for all online purchases! NC Sales tax will be waived with a properly completed exemption form. Please let the office staff know that you are tax exempt at time of payment and have the proper form filled out to give them; via email or in hand at pick up. We are pleased to offer online bidding through PRIME CHOICE AUCTIONS. You can bid on your personal computer or on your phone through the PRIME CHOICE AUCTIONS APP. That can be found in your phones app store. To bid on the app: download the app, choose the Dixie Horse Auction. Click on view auction, then register to bid on any lot! Complete and follow the prompts! Be sure to add your credit card information and accept terms and conditions!

Payment Instructions:
All successful online auction bidders agree to make full payment to Dixie Horse Auction LTD Within 48 hours of auction date. Dixie Horse Auction WILL CALL YOU FOR PAYMENT. Payment must be made BEFORE items are picked up. Immediately Available Funds: Bidders' bids are not subject to financing. Bidder represents and warrants to Dixie Horse Auction that such bidder has immediately available funds to make full settlement for his or her successful bids by 3pm Sunday March 29.
Shipping Instructions:
Shipping or pickup responsibility of the buyer. All items to be removed from auction facility by 3pm Sunday March 29 unless alternate arrangements are made with Dixie Horse Auction prior to purchase.

INTERNET BIDDERS PLEASE NOTE! When you register to bid, Prime Choice Auctions will place a $1000 preauthorization on the credit or debit card that you register with. This is NOT a charge, just a preauthorization. Your mobile banking may send a notification that appears as a charge - AGAIN, it is just a preauthorization. The $1000 will show as "pending" and then never complete but rather, will just vanish as if it was never there. Once the sale is complete, this preauthorization is released for all non-winning bidders. Winning bidders will have the preauthorization lifted once final settlement is made with the auction company. If for any reason you as a winning bidder fail to make final payment to the auction company before the open of business on Monday, you understand that Prime Choice Auction will finalize the $1000 preauthorization and remit it to the auction company to be applied to your bill. Further, you understand that Prime Choice Auctions will charge your registered card for the full amount due to the auction company for your winning bids. BID RESPONSIBLY and remember, your bid is a legally binding contract! You are responsible for your winning bids.
